Q & A…
Why do you do what you do?
I enjoy working with Maine and New England’s small and multi-generational businesses, learning their stories and helping them grow and succeed in their business goals.
What do you do on April 16?
I usually need to catch up on sleep but typically find myself doing housework or trying to enjoy the spring weather by getting outside for a walk or run with the pup.
What is your favorite movie?
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
What is something people might not know about you?
I’m not a huge fan of traveling; my ideal vacation is a Maine stay-cation near the lake in the summer or hiking through the mountains in the fall.
What is one of your biggest accomplishments?
To date, passing the CPA exam!
What is the best advice you have ever received?
“Don’t let the tax tail wag the dog” – a common expression used in the tax world but one that has taught me that listening to a client’s concerns and understanding what is most important to them will go a long way; we’re often surprised to learn that it’s not always trying to pay the least amount of tax!
