Q & A…
Why do you do what you do?
I enjoy seeing how things are done differently at all the various businesses that I work with so that I can pick up on skills or learn different ways to do things. It’s also quite fulfilling to see clients achieve the results when they meet or even exceed their goals.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
Do your research, but be curious and ask questions. It’s the best way to learn from others.
Describe the best vacation you’ve ever taken…
In high school I took a 3-week foreign exchange trip to my school’s sister school in Kurashiki, Japan. I had a wonderful time staying with my host family exploring the Okayama district and nearby areas on what was my first large trip without family.
What do you do on April 16th?
Get back to reading non-accounting related books and articles. In 2019 the first book was “I Will Always Write Back”. In addition, spend some quality time with my partner and my dog walking the trails or beaches near our home.
What is something people might not know about you?
I’ve visited more than 35 different countries and have completed 30 marathons or ultramarathons before turning 30 years old.
